Venue

RTSI2022 will be held on the Jussieu campus (Sorbonne Université) which is ideally located in downtown Paris.

The meeting itself will take place in the Durand Amphitheater located in the Esclangon building and in the second floor of the 66 tower (Room 205).

The Gala Diner will be held in the Bouillon Racine restaurant (15 mn walk from Jussieu).

Travel

Paris can easily be reached from mostly anywhere around the globe. The easiest way to get there is by plane where one can arrive either at the Charles-de-Gaulle airport or at the Orly airport. Alternatively, participants can come by train.

Arriving at the Charles-de-Gaulle airport.

All the airport terminals are connected to Paris downtown by the B line of the RER (direction Robinson, Antony, St-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse). You just have to follow the signs at the airport (you may have to take an internal shuttle at the airport depending on your arrival terminal).

Tickets have to be purchased at the airport, before boarding the train.

Arriving at the Orly airport.

From your arrival terminal, you have to take the shuttle « Orlyval » (air train). This takes you to the Anthony train station where you can take the RER B line to downtown Paris (direction Aeroport Charles-de-Gaule, Mitry). From the airport, just follow the signs « Paris by train ».

Tickets must be purchased at the booth before boarding the Orlyval.

Arriving by train

Trains usually arrive in one of the main train stations inside Paris (Gare du Nord, Gare Montparnasse and Gare de Lyon are the most common ones).

Once you are in Paris

Once you are in Paris, the Jussieu campus is located on the lines 7 and 10 of the Metro. If you arrive by plane and take the RER B line, a connection between the B line and the Metro 10 is possible in « Saint-Michel Notre Dame ». Alternatively, you can exit in « Luxembourg » and take a 15 minutes walk to the campus.
